You’re in luck — the 43rd Annual Great Italian Festival is taking over downtown Reno on October 11–12, 2025, and it’s one of the city’s most beloved fall traditions. Expect incredible food, live music, wine tastings, and the famous grape stomp — all right on Virginia Street.

What You’ll Experience
🍝 The Sauce Cook-Off & Pasta Tastings
Local families compete for bragging rights with their secret pasta sauces. For a small tasting fee, you can sample and vote for your favorite — one of the most popular parts of the festival!
🍷 The Wine Walk
Sip your way through downtown Reno’s Italian Wine Walk on Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. Purchase a wristband and enjoy samples of Italian varietals while exploring the event.
🎤 Live Music & Entertainment
Two stages of music fill the air all weekend long, featuring Italian favorites and upbeat bands like Ray Massa’s Eurorhythms, Capuano n’T Rock, Moreno Fruzzetti, and more.
🍇 Grape Stomp Fun
Yes — you can actually stomp grapes! Whether you participate or just cheer from the crowd, it’s a must-see highlight.
